Harrison Do is an education advocate who is committed to ensuring that EACH child in North Carolina receives the gift of an outstanding education. Mr. Do is honored to be given the opportunity to serve as the Principal Resident at Durham School of the Arts (DSA) for the 2019-2020 academic year. Mr. Do graduated from North Carolina State University (NCSU) with a degree in Biological Sciences (Concentration in Human Biology). After spending some time working in politics and developing a passion for studying education, he entered the classroom with an interest in both teaching and working with students. Prior to joining the DSA staff, Mr. Do completed the NCSU NC TEACH program and was the Sixth Grade Science Teacher at Magellan Charter School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Currently, he is also in his second year as a fellow in the Master of School Administration program at NCSU.
On a personal note, Mr. Do was born and raised in Raleigh and is a product of the Wake County Public School System. He loves dogs and in his free time enjoys eating a good meal with family and friends!
